THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN RELEASES POST-UTME DATE.
On Thursday, 25th March, 2021, the University of Ibadan released a statement as regards the upcoming POST UTME examination. It was stated that the screening, which would run from Thursday, 06 April through 10 April 2021, would be done as Computer Based Test(CBT).
According to the official statement:
“Information on the Date, Time and Venue will be communicated via a photocard to each candidate through the University Admission Portal.
Candidates are requested to print the PHOTOCARD and bring it along to the venue of the screening.
A CBT access fee of N1,000.00 will be paid for the screening.

SUPER EAGLES QUALIFY FOR AFCON FINAL TOURNAMENT
On Saturday, 27th March 2021, the male football team of Nigeria i.e Super Eagles won the match against the Squirrels of Benin Republic to qualify for the final tournament of the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The match was held at Stade Charles de Gaulle, Benin Republic and the score was 1–0. The only goal of the match was scored three minutes after full time by Paul Onuachu, a substitute player. Nigeria is one of the countries in Group L among Sierra Leone, Lesotho and Benin Republic. Having won three games and drawn two, Super Eagles are leading the group with 11 points. Although they have qualified, they have one last match in the qualifying round on Tuesday, 30th March 2021, by 5:00 pm, against the Likuena (Crocodiles) of Lesotho.

SUICIDE SQUAD 2 TRAILER RELEASED
For lovers of the DC Universe and superheroes/supervillains generally, it was exciting to have a glimpse into the sequel of DC’s Suicide Squad. The trailer of Suicide Squad 2 was released on Friday, 25th March 2021. The new movie is directed by James Gunn and will be released in theatres on August 6, 2021. The trailer brings to our attention the new actors in the Suicide Squad cast such as Idris Elba, John Cena and Sylvester Stallone(playing a voice role). It should also be noted that Will Smith, who played the role of Deadshot in Suicide Squad will not reprise his role in the sequel due to scheduling conflicts as a result of other films he’s working on. The trailer also brings the surprise of a new villain.
